The Head of State receives a phone call from the Syrian President
ABU DHABI, 1st July / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Ahmed Al Shara, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, during which they discussed fraternal relations and the promotion of various paths of cooperation and joint work, especially in the development, economic and investment fields, in a way that serves the development priorities of the two countries and their mutual interests and brings growth and prosperity to their peoples.
During the call, the two sides stressed their mutual keenness to continue advancing the path of UAE-Syrian relations to broader horizons, which contributes to achieving the aspirations of the two countries towards development and prosperity.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional issues and topics of common interest, most notably the developments taking place in the Middle East region and the efforts made to consolidate security, stability and peace in the region for the benefit of all its peoples.
