Emirati shooting champion Fatima Al Shibli died after a struggle with illness

In a press statement today, Thursday, the UAE Shooting Federation mourned the national team player, Fatima Al-Shibli, one of the champions in pit shooting, who passed away after a struggle with illness.

Sadness fell over the Emirati shooting family after the death of the late player, who is considered one of the most prominent members of the national team, after she succeeded in achieving the silver medal in the Arab Shooting Championship hosted by Egypt in June 2021, in one of her most prominent achievements on the Arab scene.

Fatima Al-Shibli’s last official participation was in the Fourth Gulf Games, which were held in Qatar last May, before illness made her absent from the sports scene recently.
