Under the patronage of the President of the UAE, Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed honors the winners of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, honored the winners of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in its twenty-second session.
This came during the official honoring ceremony organized by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, and a number of senior officials and members of the award’s Board of Trustees.
In its current session, the award aims to support the private sector in adopting the best institutional practices, and enhancing the use of data and modern technologies to raise the efficiency of operational and production processes, which contributes to enhancing competitiveness and achieving sustainable development goals, by motivating institutions to develop innovative business models based on knowledge and technology, in line with the emirate’s economic priorities and directions.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award represents one of the pillars supporting the establishment of an integrated system of excellence and innovation in the business sector, and contributes to motivating institutions to improve their performance and adopt more flexible and sustainable business models, in a way that enhances the competitiveness of the national economy and keeps pace with its future aspirations.
His Highness pointed out the importance of continuing to invest in advanced technologies and artificial intelligence solutions, which have become a major driver of economic growth, and employing them to develop business models, raise the efficiency of operations, and enhance productivity, enabling private sector institutions to keep pace with changes in global markets.
His Highness honored 7 companies in appreciation of their efforts and excellence in adopting the best institutional practices and improving the performance of the business sector in a way that enhances innovation, productivity and competitiveness of the business environment, and supports the readiness of private sector companies to keep pace with the requirements of the future in various vital fields.
During his speech at the honoring ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, stressed that innovation and influential achievements constitute an essential pillar for advancing economic and social development, saying: “Thanks to the vision and directives of the wise leadership, Abu Dhabi’s economy continues to achieve rapid growth that enhances the emirate’s position as an attractive destination for talents, companies and investments.”
He added: “We renew our commitment to supporting companies and institutions and enabling them to face challenges and benefit from future opportunities. By strengthening their capabilities and expanding their economic and social impact, we are establishing strong foundations that support their continued contribution to advancing the process of development and prosperity in Abu Dhabi, and enhancing the competitiveness of the economy and sustaining its growth.”
For his part, Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Yasser Al Naqbi, stressed that the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award adopts an approach based on measuring and analyzing outcomes, which transforms institutional efforts into tangible economic and development value that enhances Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness and supports the business environment. He explained that the award represents a shift from focusing on performance to creating sustainable value, which consolidates its role as a national platform that drives innovation and develops private sector practices.
Below is the list of institutions and companies that won the award in its 22nd session:
“VII Technology” expressed its role in developing innovative solutions for sports artificial intelligence through smart wearable devices that contribute to analyzing human performance with high accuracy and reducing injuries, thus enhancing the sports and health system and placing Abu Dhabi at the forefront of sports innovation globally.
“Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital” for its role in providing integrated rehabilitation services in accordance with the highest international medical standards, taking advantage of the latest therapeutic technologies to return patients to their normal lives, thus enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading center for specialized health care.
Kanoo Energy expressed its contribution to supporting the energy and industrial sectors by providing integrated engineering solutions and advanced services to the oil, gas and electricity sectors, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the energy system in the UAE and the region.
“Al Nakheel Sanitary Paper Manufacturing” expressed its role in manufacturing and exporting high-quality paper hygiene products to global markets, which reflects the advanced industrial capabilities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and enhances the presence of Emirati products in international markets.
Circa Biotech Limited for its contributions to developing innovative solutions for the circular economy by converting organic food waste into value-added products, which supports environmental sustainability and food security and enhances biotechnology leadership in the UAE.
“Le Calorie Restaurant” for its role in spreading the culture of healthy food through a successful business model that transformed a local idea into an international brand and franchise, supporting Emirati entrepreneurship and encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
Gulf Extrusions for the Automotive and Industrial Parts Industry expressed its role in manufacturing high-precision aluminum components for the automotive sector and exporting them to global markets, thus enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a center for advanced industries and supporting the growth of the competitive industrial sector at the international level.
