Abdullah bin Zayed and the Portuguese Foreign Minister discuss by telephone bilateral relations and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Portugal, Paulo Rangel, discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, and the opportunities and possibilities for developing them in various fields, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples towards sustainable development and prosperity.

During the call, the two sides reviewed a number of issues of common interest, related to enhancing cooperation paths between the UAE and the Republic of Portugal in many sectors that support their development priorities.

His Highness and Paulo Rangel also discussed the current regional developments, the situation in the Middle East, and ways to support efforts to maintain regional and international peace and security.
