40 people died after a bus collapsed in southwest Pakistan

40 people were killed and eight others were injured, as a result of a passenger bus swerving and falling into a narrow valley in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan.
The spokesman for the Balochistan Regional Government, Shahid Rind, said that the bus driver lost control of the bus, which was heading from Quetta to Peshawar, which led to it falling into the valley located in the remote Dana Sar region, near the border between the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rescue teams rushed to the site of the accident, while the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, while the authorities began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
