Index decline "Nikki " Japan due to losses in technology stocks

TOKYO, JULY 8, WAM/ The Japanese Nikkei index fell in volatile trading today, affected by losses in technology stocks, after the American Nasdaq index recorded sharp losses overnight.

The Nikkei index fell 0.72 percent to 67,763.91 points, and the broader Topix index fell 0.62 percent to 4,037.16 points.
