Oil prices rise 1% and"Brent" It reaches $78.8 per barrel

Capitals, July 9 / WAM / Oil prices recorded a rise today, Thursday.

By 00:54 GMT, Brent crude futures rose 78 cents, or 1%, to $78.8 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures also increased 74 cents, or 1.01%, to reach $74.26 per barrel.

The two crude oil prices achieved gains exceeding one dollar in post-settlement trading yesterday, Wednesday.
