Sharjah, 9 July / WAM / The Sharjah Children Foundation, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, concluded an art exhibition entitled “Fingles Telling” at the Zero 6 Mall in Sharjah, presenting an artistic experience that embodied the diversity of talents and methods of visual expression among children and allowed the public to see their creativity in an interactive environment.
The exhibition included more than 30 artworks that varied between individual and group works, as a result of the artistic workshops offered by the Foundation for children under the supervision of an elite group of local artists. The works were divided into drawing, sculpture, wooden figures, and crafts, in addition to works that employed various techniques and artistic methods, including artificial intelligence, mixed media, recycling, and Arabic calligraphy, in addition to works inspired by the world of the oceans, reflecting the diversity of artistic experiences that the children had during their participation in the workshops.
The artworks reflected the children’s ability to employ their imagination and knowledge in producing creative works whose themes were inspired by nature, the environment and imagination, and highlighted their aesthetic sense and skills in composition and visual expression, presenting innovative and diverse artistic visions that reflect their talents and develop their creative skills.
Noura Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Children Foundation, said that the “Fingles Telling” exhibition represents a qualitative initiative to enable children to express their creative talents and highlight their artistic production in front of members of society, noting that these experiences contributed to refining their skills, developing their self-confidence and motivating them to continue creativity, pointing out that the exhibition also formed an important platform for highlighting the work of members of Sharjah Children’s Children and highlighting their talents and artistic achievements in a way that reflects the skills and experiences they have acquired through the specialized programs and workshops provided by the Foundation.
She added that displaying children’s works in public spaces gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment and enhances their presence in the cultural and artistic scene, stressing that the Foundation is keen to provide creative environments that provide them with opportunities to learn, experiment, and display their artistic production, which contributes to building a creative generation capable of expressing its ideas and visions in innovative artistic methods.
