“International Charities” supports those injured in Gaza with two million dirhams

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organization, handed over a check worth two million dirhams, in support of the prosthetic limbs program “A Step of Hope,” which is implemented in cooperation with Operation “The Gallant Knight 3,” with the aim of providing, manufacturing, and installing prosthetic limbs, in addition to rehabilitation services for injured Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi stressed that this support comes as an extension of the established humanitarian approach adopted by the UAE in supporting our Palestinian brothers, and an embodiment of the Authority’s commitment to supporting specific humanitarian initiatives that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the injured and meeting their medical and rehabilitation needs.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Charitable Works Authority said that the “Step of Hope” program, which is implemented in partnership with Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” represents a model of Emirati humanitarian work based on a rapid and effective response to the needs of those affected, and a translation of the directives of the wise leadership in extending a helping hand to our Palestinian brothers, especially the injured who lost their limbs as a result of the events in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the International Charitable Foundation, Dr. Khaled Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, confirmed that the program aims to restore hope to the injured, through an integrated system that includes the provision of prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation services, physical therapy and medical follow-up, which contributes to improving their quality of life and enabling them to regain their ability to practice their daily lives.
He extended his thanks and appreciation to Operation “Gallant Knight 3” for its pioneering humanitarian efforts, stressing the Authority’s commitment to continue supporting the “Step of Hope” program and expanding its scope during the coming stages, ensuring that its services reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries, and enhancing the sustainable humanitarian impact that the UAE seeks in supporting our Palestinian brothers.
The relief operations coordinator for Operation “The Gallant Knight 3,” Hamoud Saeed Al-Afari, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the International Charitable Organization for its continued support for Operation “The Gallant Knight 3” in general, and the prosthetic limbs program “A Step of Hope” in particular, which embodies the UAE’s continued commitment to supporting our Palestinian brothers and alleviating their suffering.
Al-Afari stressed that “A Step of Hope” is a specialized humanitarian program that focuses on responding to the cases of amputation suffered by the injured as a result of the events in the Gaza Strip, and aims to install upper and lower prosthetic limbs for the injured, which restores their ability to move, and paves the way for a new stage of recovery, restoring hope, and rebuilding life.
