Time management, faith, and diligence…the recipe for rising to the top of the list

Student Abeer Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, the first in the country in the elite track, confirmed that her topping the list of firsts was not the result of the effort of one academic season, but rather the result of a long journey of perseverance, discipline and continuous work over the years of study, during which she was keen to maintain a distinguished academic level and set clear goals that she seeks to achieve with steady steps.

She told Emirates Today that reaching this historic moment came after long hours of organized study, commitment to a precise time management plan, and the belief that diligence is the true path to success.

She explained that the secondary stage, especially the elite track, requires a high level of focus and commitment, given the advanced scientific curricula it includes and academic challenges that require continuous preparation.

She pointed out that she treated each test as a new station to prove her abilities, and did not allow the pressures of exams or the fear of competition to affect her determination, but rather motivated her to exert more effort until she achieved the result she aspired to.

Abeer confirmed that her family was the main pillar of her journey of excellence, as it surrounded her from the beginning with care and attention, and provided her with a stable and motivating family environment for achievement, in addition to daily follow-up and continuous encouragement that gave her confidence and reassurance throughout her academic career.

She also expressed her deep gratitude to her male and female teachers, stressing that they were true partners in this achievement, with the academic guidance, psychological support, and constant keenness they provided to help her overcome challenges and achieve the best results.

She added that achieving first place in the elite track represents for her the beginning of a new phase of ambition, not the end of the journey of excellence, stressing that she looks forward to continuing her academic career in one of the specific specializations that contribute to serving the nation, expressing her pride in raising the name of the UAE in this achievement, and thanking the wise leadership that has made education its top priority, the Ministry of Education and its school, and everyone who contributed to providing an advanced educational system that allowed students to reach the highest levels of excellence and creativity.
