Global brand "Ciara" Ras Al Khaimah chooses a center for its manufacturing operations in the region
Ras Al Khaimah, 11 July / WAM / “Ciara”, one of the brands affiliated with JBS SA, one of the largest food companies in the world, which has operations in more than 20 countries, chose the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to be the center for its manufacturing operations in the region, taking advantage of its strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and supportive investment environment, in a way that enhances the access of its products to regional and global markets.
The company, which employs more than 270,000 employees, provides a wide range of poultry, meat and prepared food products, and its products are marketed in more than 150 countries around the world.
The production of the Seara factory in Ras Al Khaimah is about 20 thousand tons annually, with plans to expand production capacity and target new markets in North Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe.
The factory relies on the latest manufacturing technologies, automation and industrial control systems, in addition to applying the highest standards of quality and food safety. It holds international certificates, including ISO 22000, HACCP and BRC, which reflects the company’s commitment to providing high-quality products in accordance with the best international practices.
Ciara continues to invest in developing its products and expanding its distribution network, with a focus on innovation, sustainability and enhancing the efficiency of operations, supporting its plans for regional and international growth.
With regard to food security, the company confirmed its success in maintaining continuity of supplies during recent developments by diversifying supply sources, enhancing strategic stock, and benefiting from the advanced logistics infrastructure provided by the UAE, ensuring that the needs of local and regional markets are met efficiently.
