“Tenders”: 274 thousand dinars to modernize the infrastructure of the telephone system with “electricity and water”

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 8 public tenders, presenting 53 different bids, including a tender for the Electricity and Water Authority to modernize and develop the current infrastructure of the landline telephone system (IP telephony) in order to improve the quality of voice communication, reliability, security, and scalability.

She explained that the modernization includes replacing old devices, upgrading software, and reconfiguring call flow, as she obtained two bids, the least of which amounted to 274 thousand dinars.

In a second tender, the Electricity and Water Authority announced a tender to replace and develop the control and monitoring system with a new system that includes supply, installation, engineering and operation, in the second West Riffa water mixing station, where the tender received 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 75 thousand dinars.

In turn, the Bahrain International Circuit announced a tender to provide manpower for plumbing work in all its facilities and infrastructure. The tender received 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 132 thousand dinars.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs intends to appoint an engineering and contracting company to carry out maintenance work for the residence villa of the head of the mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The tender received 3 bids, the least of which amounted to 84 thousand dinars.

For its part, the General Sports Authority is looking forward to replacing damaged fire alarm and fire-fighting systems in its various facilities according to the schedule of quantities, as the tender received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 35 thousand dinars.

For its part, the Department of Afforestation and Parks at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture intends to issue a tender for the operation and maintenance of the irrigation and afforestation network in East Sitra, in order to ensure the sustainability of sites in the capital and the improvement of green spaces and plants, for a period of 14 months. It received 12 bids, the least of which amounted to 10 thousand dinars.

In turn, the primary health care centers issued a tender to supply and install modern medical equipment for the nursing department in the primary health care centers in the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait Health Center project in Qalali. The tender received 17 bids, the least of which amounted to 7 thousand dinars, with a note that “price details are in the attachments.”

On the other hand, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture (Livestock Department) announced the issuance of a tender to supply the veterinary laboratories in Hoora Aali with all veterinary materials and food safety materials necessary for monitoring animal diseases and epidemiological investigations. The tender received 3 bids, the least of which amounted to 2.4 thousand dinars.
