Qatar strongly condemns the targeting of two Emirati oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the targeting of two Emirati oil tankers while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz, and considered it a serious violation of the safety of international navigation, a direct threat to the security of global energy supplies, and a clear and explicit violation of the rules of international law.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA), on Tuesday, that the continuation of these rejected attacks represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, and undermines efforts aimed at establishing regional security and stability.
