Dammam leads the residential real estate market in the first quarter with sales of 3.6 billion riyals

The city of Dammam topped the residential real estate market in Saudi Arabia during the first quarter of 2026, as its quarterly sales recorded an increase of 71% year-on-year to reach 3.6 billion SAR ($957 million), according to the latest data.
According to "Cavendish Maxwell" Real Estate Consulting, about 2,900 residential properties were sold in Dammamduring the first quarter, recording an increase of 41% compared to the previous quarter in which sales amounted to 2.1 billion riyals.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of transactions increased by 25%, while the value of sales increased by 48%.
Despite the regional tensions, the month of March recorded the highest level of monthly activity, as the number of transactions reached 1,265 transactions, which confirms the strength of the housing market in the Eastern Province in general. And the city of Dammam in particular.
This momentum comes as the Kingdom continues to implement reforms aimed at attracting investments to The real estate sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to raise the percentage of Saudi families owning homes to 70% by 2030.
