“Toyota”, “Nissan” and “Land Rover” top buyers’ interest in the Emirates during the first half

The latest research data issued by the “Dubizzle” platform in the UAE revealed the continued strong momentum of the SUV market during the first half of 2026, with buyers’ increasing interest in vehicles that provide a combination of space, reliability, and versatility, in line with the needs of families and diverse lifestyles in the country.

An analysis of views of SUV advertisements on the Dubizzle platform during the period from January to June 2026 showed that buyers have become more focused on factors such as spacious interior spaces, reliability, and resale value, in addition to strong performance and the ability for daily use and long trips, which reflects a shift towards more sustainable purchasing decisions.

“Toyota” topped the list of brands that most attracted the attention of those looking for SUVs, with more than 10.4 million views, followed by “Nissan” with 8.6 million views, then “Land Rover” with 7.2 million views, and “Mercedes-Benz” with six million views, while “BMW” came in fifth place with about 3.5 million views.
As for the models, Nissan Patrol maintained the top spot as the most viewed car on the platform, with more than 4.1 million views during the first half of the year, followed by Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover, and Land Rover Defender, confirming these models as the most attractive options for buyers in the UAE market.

These results reflect the continued preference of consumers in the Emirates for large SUVs, due to the comfort they provide, spacious interior spaces, and high reliability, in addition to their suitability for daily life, family trips, and outdoor activities, while maintaining a strong value at resale.

Sherif Magdy, sales manager at Dubizzle Cars, said: “The continued demand for family SUVs reflects a clear change in the priorities of buyers in the UAE, as they are looking for vehicles that combine comfort, reliability, versatility and long-term value, instead of focusing on traditional specifications only.”

He added: “Models such as the Nissan Patrol and Toyota Land Cruiser have succeeded in establishing their position thanks to their strong record of reliability, spacious spaces, and performance in various driving conditions, in addition to maintaining a high value at resale, which makes them a preferred choice for families and individuals looking for a practical and sustainable investment.”
The data also showed continued demand for luxury SUVs, such as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover, and Land Rover Defender, indicating that a wide segment of buyers are still searching for a balance between luxury, practical performance, and advanced technologies.
Dubizzle confirmed that it continues to benefit from market data and user behavior to provide accurate insights into trends in the automotive sector in the Emirates, which helps consumers make more informed buying and selling decisions, and gives companies and institutions a deeper understanding of the development of demand in the local market.
