The Women’s Renaissance in Dubai launches a visual series to promote family values ​​and national identity

The Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai launched a new weekly video series consisting of 12 episodes, within the framework of the objectives of the “Homeland is Trust” campaign and in conjunction with the Year of the Family, with the aim of consolidating authentic family values ​​and enhancing awareness of the importance of customs and traditions that have contributed over decades to the cohesion and stability of the Emirati family.

The Director General of the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, confirmed that the family represents the basic foundation for building a cohesive society and that preserving the system of positive values ​​and customs is an investment in the future of generations, noting that the association is keen to launch specific initiatives that contribute to raising community awareness and strengthening national identity in line with the vision of the wise leadership in supporting the family because it is the nucleus of society and the basis of sustainable development.

She said that this visual series comes at a time when social and cultural transformations are accelerating, which requires highlighting positive customs and traditions to protect them from decline due to life changes, while emphasizing their role in consolidating family cohesion and promoting the values ​​of respect, solidarity and responsibility among family members.

She added that the association continues, through its awareness programs, to provide meaningful content that combines authenticity and modernity and addresses various members of society in modern ways that contribute to consolidating authentic Emirati values.

Director of the Society’s Religious and Cultural Activities Department, Dr. Aisha Al-Maghrabi, explained that the series includes 12 weekly episodes that address various topics affecting the reality of the family and discuss in a simplified and direct manner a number of social customs that have witnessed change with the developments of the times despite their importance in maintaining family cohesion and strengthening relationships between family members.

She said: Through these episodes, we seek to re-highlight the positive practices that have formed part of our societal culture and highlight their impact in building a cohesive family capable of facing the challenges of the times, thus contributing to enhancing family stability and consolidating national identity and societal values.
