No one should charge fees for crossing the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he believes no one should impose fees on crossing the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump, who suggested yesterday, Monday, that the United States impose a 20 percent transit fee, added, “I do not think that any party should impose fees.”

He added in statements to reporters, “I do not like the concept of fees, but at the same time, it is not fair for us to protect this strait for the benefit of the entire world.”
