I will not do anything inappropriate if Trump asks me to

US Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Worsh said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump did not ask him to do anything inappropriate, and that even if Trump asked him to do so, he would not do so.

Worsh’s statement came in response to a series of questions from US Senators about whether he had spoken with Trump, who appointed him, since taking office nearly two months ago.

Worsh declined to answer directly whether he had spoken with Trump, but said he did not see it appropriate to reveal the content of his communications with administration officials.
