Targeting Iranian military capabilities used to threaten ships in the Strait of Hormuz

The US military announced, on Wednesday, the launch of a second wave of strikes against Iran targeting Iranian military capabilities used to threaten ships crossing freely through the Strait of Hormuz.
The US Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement: “At three o’clock in the afternoon, eastern US time, US forces launched operations as part of the second wave of strikes today against Iran.”
