"Wall Street" Closes with a collective decline, and the Nasdaq loses 1.47%

NEW YORK, July 17, 2017 (WAM) – US stock indices ended trading on Thursday with a collective decline at the end of the trading session on the Wall Street Stock Exchange, amid losses led by the Nasdaq index.

The Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 387 points, or 1.47%, to close at 25,881 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 105 points, or 0.20%, to end the session at 52,553 points.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (S&P 500) fell by about 38 points, or 0.51%, to close at 7,533 points.
