Doha Al-Bishr is the first Emirati woman to obtain a trainer certification "Wing Surf" From the British Yachting Association

Dubai, July 25 / WAM / Doha Al-Bishr, a player in the national modern sailing team, obtained the “Wing Surf” class trainer certificate accredited by the British Yachting Association, becoming the first Emirati woman to obtain this accreditation, which qualifies her to train this modern category in the sport of sailing according to the highest international standards.

Doha Al-Bishr obtained the training certificate on the sidelines of her participation in the “Mubadala” program for developing female players in the “Wing Foil” category, which was held in Portsmouth, England.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Obaidli, Secretary General of the UAE Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, congratulated the player, Dhaha Al Bishr, on this achievement, stressing that it embodies the strategy of the Federation, headed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, which aims to prepare and qualify national team players, and provide them with the opportunity to participate in specialized training programs and courses, thus contributing to the development of modern sailing in the country.

Al-Obaidli thanked the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and Mubadala Company, in appreciation of their continued support for modern sailing, and their contribution to empowering national competencies and creating the appropriate environment to achieve more achievements.
