63 thousand Saudi families will receive their first homes during the first half of 2026
The Ministry explained that the number of families who lived in their first homes during the month of June reached 12,004 Saudi families, bringing the total number of families who lived in their first homes from the beginning of the year until the end of June to more than 63,000 families.
It indicated that the total number of families benefiting from housing support during the first half of this year amounted to 48,631 Saudi families, after 10,160 families benefited from support services during the month of June.
She indicated that the total number of beneficiaries since the launch of the “Sakani” program in 2017 until the end of June 2026 rose to 1,046,890 contracts, which reflects the continued impact of the program in enhancing ownership opportunities and facilitating the journey of Saudi families obtaining housing.
The Ministry confirmed that these results are an extension of the efforts made by the housing system to provide various housing and financing solutions, raise the efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries, and accelerate ownership procedures by integrating with financing agencies and real estate developers.
She added that the “Sakani” program continues to provide a number of residential options that include ready-made residential units, units under construction within off-plan sale projects, self-construction, and residential plots, allowing beneficiaries to choose the housing solution that best suits their needs and capabilities.
She stated that the project, implemented in partnership with real estate developers, contributes to increasing the residential supply and developing integrated communities that include facilities, services and open spaces, in a way that enhances the quality of life and provides vibrant and sustainable residential environments.
