The Head of State and the British Prime Minister discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed with Andy Burnham, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom today, during a phone call, bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two countries.

During the call, His Highness congratulated Andy Burnham on his assumption of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, wishing him success in leading his country towards further progress and prosperity.

The two sides expressed their aspiration to work together to continue strengthening the established UAE-British relations and expand the horizons of their cooperation in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings growth and prosperity to their friendly peoples.

His Highness the President and the British Prime Minister also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
