The President of the State receives the Emirates Search and Rescue Team and praises their global humanitarian efforts

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received the Emirates Search and Rescue Team of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority.

During the meeting, His Highness congratulated the team on passing, for the third time, the international reclassification process for the “heavy level” category, which was approved by the International Advisory Group for Search and Rescue of the United Nations, praising this achievement, which confirms the team’s efficiency and the continuity of its excellence and professionalism in dealing with various emergencies and disasters in all circumstances.

His Highness stressed that the team’s achievement contributes to consolidating the UAE’s global standing in the fields of humanitarian work and enhancing its message of extending a helping hand and assistance to all those affected in disaster and crisis areas, noting that thanks to this high readiness, the country has become a major partner in the fields of humanitarian work and confronting global crises and disasters.

His Highness said, “We want the team to remain a role model for competence, readiness, and the ability to confront difficulties. And for you to remain the best ambassadors for your country. We are proud of you in all international forums. May God bless your efforts.”
