Two earthquakes hit Qinghai Province, China

​The Chinese Earthquake Networks Center reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 struck Qinghai County in northwest China’s Qinghai Province on Tuesday at 11:16 a.m. (0316 GMT).

The center added that a second earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck the area 18 minutes later. The two earthquakes occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and about 244 kilometers from Xining, the capital of Qinghai. (Prepared by Mahmoud Salama for the Arabic Bulletin)
