“Amwaj International” turns to a loss of 87.8 million riyals in 2025
Amwaj International Company turned a loss in the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2025, at 87.8 million riyals, compared to profits of 6.4 million riyals in the year 2024.
According to the company’s statement on the website "Saudi Arabia trading"The shift from achieving a net profit to recording a net loss is mainly due to:
• Decreased revenues, thus decreasing overall profit.
• Proving losses on inventory inventory discrepancies amounting to 28.67 million riyals as a result of discrepancies discovered in one of the branches.
• Creating an allowance for expected credit losses in the amount of 47.12 million riyals, compared to 2.41 million riyals during the previous year. The bulk of the allowance formed during the year was concentrated in receivables related to the branch in question.
• Increase in general and administrative expenses.
• Continuing to bear financing costs.
