Taif Health Assembly launches an initiative for early detection of diabetes for employees of “Turbah Environment”

Yesterday, the Taif Health Cluster, represented by Al-Hashraj Health Center, under the supervision of the center’s director, Nawaf Ayed Al-Marzouqi, and with the participation of the medical staff, launched an initiative for early detection of diabetes, targeting employees and employees of the office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Turbah Governorate, as part of its efforts aimed at promoting preventive health and improving the quality of life.
The initiative aims to raise the level of health awareness of the importance of early detection of diabetes, and to contribute to the discovery of undiagnosed cases, thus enhancing opportunities for therapeutic intervention in its early stages and reducing health complications, in addition to establishing a culture of prevention and encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
The initiative witnessed remarkable interaction from the employees, as the medical team provided screening and early detection services, in addition to health awareness and preventive guidance related to risk factors and ways to prevent the disease, which contributes to enhancing health awareness among the beneficiaries.
