The Minister of Health discusses with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan the strengthening of qualitative health partnerships

Today, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, met with His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Kochkarov, during the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Health to the Republic of Uzbekistan, to discuss opportunities for enhancing mutual health and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting discussed opportunities to develop cooperation in several health fields, such as the sustainability of financing health services, and adopting the “health in all policies” approach, which consolidates the integration of government efforts to achieve public health goals, in addition to strengthening the principles of prevention and population health, in a way that supports building more efficient and sustainable health systems in the two countries.

The meeting is a reflection of the Ministry of Health’s commitment to expanding its qualitative and sustainable international partnerships, exchanging experiences, and transferring knowledge, in order to achieve the goals of the health sector transformation program emanating from Saudi Vision 2030, and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a global partner in developing the health sector.
