The film “Ansaf” wins the Best Actor Award at the Student Film Festival

The Best Actor Award at the Student Film Festival at King Abdulaziz University went to Hassan Al-Haraz for the film “Ansaf,” produced by students of the Department of Communication and Media at King Faisal University.
The student-produced film “Land of Giving” won second place in the documentary films track at the Student Film Festival, which was part of King Faisal University’s participation with 16 works, of which 3 works on different topics were nominated for the final stage in the Saudi university competitions.

Supporting the spirit of competition and artistic creativity

The head of the Department of Communication and Media at King Faisal University, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullatif Al-Halibi, explained: The university’s participation in this cultural event creates a spirit of creativity and competition, especially in the Student Film Festival, which is an incubating platform for student cinematic creativity, and enhances the Kingdom’s leadership in the field of filmmaking in line with the directions of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
He stated that the festival stimulates the talents of students in Saudi universities in the field of films and their development, and creates and enhances interaction and interconnection between them, in addition to building bridges between academic filmmakers and producers, which contributes to highlighting and deepening the Saudi cultural identity.
