"Abu Dhabi Business Week" It attracts 10 thousand participants

Abu Dhabi, 4 December / WAM / The activities of “Abu Dhabi Business Week” kicked off today with the announcement of a number of initiatives and plans aimed at developing the business sector, with the participation of more than 10,000 decision-makers, CEOs, international investors and entrepreneurs.
On the first day of the event, which was organized by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), the Abu Dhabi Business Summit, the Marketing Forum, and the Innovation Forum were organized, in addition to the Abu Dhabi Business System Exhibition, Which brings together over two days major manufacturers, local suppliers and leading international companies.
The Abu Dhabi Business Summit included an opening speech delivered by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, during which he stressed the importance of building economic partnerships to achieve prosperity.
His Excellency Shams Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Second Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also reviewed the services provided by the Chamber to support the development of the business sector.
The event also witnessed a presentation by Dr. Sarah Sabry, the first Arab astronaut, entitled “Achieving the Impossible Dream.” A dialogue session was also held on the means of success with the participation of Formula 1 legend David Coulthard and Dutch football star Clarence Seedorf.
In a panel discussion titled “How to Take Your Company to the Next Level,” business leaders Magnus Olsson, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Careem, and Elie Habib, Co-Founder and CEO of Anghami, discussed their success stories in building multi-billion-dollar companies. Dollars. Journalist Louisa Preston also led a conversation with Jo Malone, founder of Jo Malone and Jo Loves, about how to build business empires.
In a speech titled “Amazing Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence and How It Helps Save the World,” Mohamed Jawdat, author and former chief business officer at Google X, discussed the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the future. Randi Zuckerberg, former director of marketing at Facebook and founder of Zuckerberg Media, also gave a speech entitled “How to tell a story that attracts customers?”, during which she highlighted the importance of narrative in the success of companies.
A dialogue session was also organized on “The First 100 Days: Implementing Your Business Plan to Achieve Success,” which covered key topics in marketing such as the art of influence, marketing to bring about radical change, and building influential public relations, with the participation of an elite group of business leaders.
As for the “Innovation Forum”, it provided a platform for sharing innovative ideas, where senior officials from “Microsoft”, “Khalifa University”, “Fanar”, and “Analog” discussed the importance of technologies in enhancing the decision-making process in a dialogue session entitled “Edge Computing: Accelerating Make decisions in real time.”
The second day of Abu Dhabi Business Week will witness more fruitful dialogue sessions over the coming days, to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about various opinions and visions aimed at advancing sustainable development efforts and partnerships with concerned parties from the public and private sectors.
The event will host the “Global Industry and Manufacturing Summit”, whose sessions will cover the topics of industrial safety, crisis and risk management, and cybersecurity, in addition to the activities of the “Family Business Forum”, which will witness the delivery of a number of keynote speeches and dialogue sessions, covering the pivotal role of family businesses in Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Shams Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Second Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will lead the dialogue with many speakers representing leading entities and companies, including the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Center, JP Morgan, PwC, the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
