Representative of the Russian President for Cultural Cooperation: Verona Forum highlights the importance of a multipolar world
Ras Al Khaimah, December 6 / WAM / Mikhail Shvedkoy, Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation, said that hosting the Verona Economic Forum in the UAE reflects the changes in the global economy and its increasing diversity.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Shvedkoy pointed out that the forum, which is being held in Ras Al Khaimah, has become a symbol of building a multipolar world, a world that cannot be imagined without a multidimensional and multilateral economy.
He explained that Russia remains an important center of power and attraction on the international scene, and that the forum not only discusses pressing issues at the present time, but also looks to the future.
This year’s forum attracted a wide range of participants, ranging from Italian business representatives to delegations from Asia, Africa, Japan and Saudi Arabia.
The forum in the UAE has become a platform to enhance dialogue with the aim of developing cooperation and strengthening international ties.
Participants in the event expressed their confidence that the discussions that took place during it will lay the foundation for future economic and cultural initiatives.
