Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation receives "Dubai stop sign"

DUBAI, 30 JULY / WAM / The Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Foundation in Dubai, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Center for Endowment and Endowment Consultation, awarded the “Dubai Endowment Label” to the Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation in recognition of its pioneering role in implementing sustainable humanitarian and development projects and its contributions to consolidating the values ​​of giving and endowment in a way that embodies the UAE’s approach to charitable and humanitarian work.

His Excellency Issa Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Foundation in Dubai, handed over the “Dubai Endowment Sign” to Mr. Taryam Matar Taryam, father of the late Hamda Taryam, in the presence of Zainab Juma Al Tamimi, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Center for Endowment and Endowment Consultation, in honor of the humanitarian legacy of the late Hamda Taryam and in appreciation of the Foundation’s continued embodiment of its charitable mission through sustainable development projects.

His Excellency Issa Al Ghurair stressed that the “Dubai Endowment Brand” embodies Dubai’s vision of promoting the culture of endowment and consolidating the concept of sustainable social responsibility by honoring institutions that make giving an institutional approach and a tool for creating a sustainable development impact.

He said that the Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation represents a pioneering Emirati model in humanitarian work, as it has succeeded in transforming the values ​​of giving into sustainable development projects that focused on investing in people through education, health care, and orphan care, which is consistent with the goals that the “Dubai Endowment Brand” seeks to highlight, which is to motivate institutions to adopt the best practices in endowment and social responsibility in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development.

Zainab Juma Al Tamimi confirmed that granting the “Dubai Endowment Label” to the Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation comes in recognition of its pioneering efforts in consolidating the values ​​of sustainable giving and its embodiment of the concept of development endowment through specific projects that have made a tangible impact in the lives of thousands of beneficiaries.

She said that the Foundation is keen to honor institutions that provide inspiring models of social responsibility and sustainability and contribute to transforming charitable work into long-impact development projects, noting that the Hamda Taryam Charitable Foundation represents an honorable Emirati model for the qualitative initiatives it has achieved in the fields of education, health care, and orphan care, which is consistent with the Center’s mission to spread the culture of endowment and strengthen community partnerships that support sustainable development.

Taryam Matar Taryam, father of the late Hamda Taryam, said: We are proud that the Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation has received the “Dubai Endowment Mark,” appreciating this honor, which reflects the value of humanitarian work and its impact in serving communities.

The Hamda Bint Taryam Charitable Foundation implements sustainable development projects, especially in the Republic of Uganda, placing education, health and human empowerment at the top of its priorities, which reflects its commitment to creating a long-term humanitarian impact.

One of the Foundation’s most prominent projects is the Hamda Taryam Educational Complex, which includes modern schools at various levels and provides free, high-quality education, especially for orphans and the lowest-income groups, in addition to providing housing for students and teachers, which contributes to providing a stable and supportive educational environment.

The Foundation also established clinics and health centers and contributed to supporting and operating a charitable hospital that provides free treatment services to those in need, in addition to implementing integrated programs for orphan care and projects to dig water wells and build mosques and service facilities within educational complexes.
