Nahyan bin Mubarak: The Ministry of Tolerance promotes human values locally and globally
Abu Dhabi, 9 December / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, affirmed that the UAE, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” will remain a symbol of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood regionally and globally. Due to the appreciated efforts made by His Highness, locally and internationally, to promote these authentic values among all segments of society.
His Excellency stressed that the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence is proceeding in accordance with His Highness’s wise vision to promote these sublime human values among all segments of society, as well as at the global level.
He said: “His Highness the President of the State believes that empowering the people of this nation is the most valuable and important investment for this nation, because they constitute the basis of progress and development, and His Highness inspires us to always work to make this investment fruitful and always keeping pace with the needs and goals of our dear nation, and we pledge to be up to the standards “His high aspirations and expectations.”
This came during His Excellency’s extraordinary meeting with the Ministry’s cadres and employees, to review the Ministry’s initiatives and achievements during the previous stage, and the most important plans and initiatives that have been prepared to develop the Ministry’s activities during the year 2025, which focus on developing performance and addressing broader scopes in the Ministry’s work, whether in cooperation with various Society groups and institutions, or at the global level, as part of their distinguished efforts to promote the values of tolerance and coexistence locally and internationally.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his pride in the efforts made by the Ministry’s employees, which contributed to highlighting the UAE’s role as a global model to be followed in spreading the values of coexistence, peace and respect among people.
He said: “The successes and achievements that have been achieved are a reflection of your deep belief in the Ministry’s mission. Your work and efforts were not merely the implementation of tasks, but rather became clear milestones on the path to promoting a culture of tolerance, coexistence, and human brotherhood, not only at the local level and among segments of Emirati society, but also at the level of All humanity, and our motto will remain that we are the ministry of all and we work with everyone for everyone.”
His Excellency highlighted the distinguished projects and initiatives launched by the Ministry, praising the fruitful partnerships that the Ministry concluded with various local, federal, private and international bodies to enhance the UAE’s position as a pioneering country in supporting dialogue and understanding.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak stressed the importance of continuing to provide innovative initiatives that reflect the Ministry’s vision and support the values of the country’s wise leadership.
He added: “As we celebrate the fifty-third anniversary of the Union, we look forward to a new year with confidence and hope. My view is focused on the future, which is a national habit that was adopted and strongly supported by His Highness the President of the State. As we look to the future, our plans and programs will emphasize more than ever before the promotion of tolerance and identity.” Patriotism, the values and traditions of the Emirates, in all the Ministry’s programs, and we will affirm the principle of working with everyone for the benefit of everyone, which reflects our conviction that our work focuses on ensuring access and inclusion. We will also remain committed to innovation, applying knowledge and enhancing the capabilities of sons and daughters. The collective nation to adapt to a changing world, and for the UAE to always be at the forefront.”
During the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak opened the door to discussion and dialogue with the work team, where he listened to their opinions, perceptions, and proposals that could contribute to developing work mechanisms and achieving the ambitious goals of the Ministry, praising those ideas and proposals, stressing that innovation and flexibility are the basic elements for achieving excellence in The Ministry’s work during the next stage.
His Excellency said: “I call on you to renew your commitment to the mission and goals of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, because our nation needs our joint efforts as a single team committed to the same goals and ambitions, and together we will remain a strong team that can successfully accomplish all our programs and initiatives in order to achieve their lofty goals for the benefit of our society and our nation.”
