المملكة: Approving the cancellation of the entity’s license and exempting licensing fees for the non-profit sector
During its seventeenth meeting, the Board of Directors of the National Center for E-Learning, headed by His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and in the presence of Board members, approved a set of decisions and recommendations.
The decisions included adopting the e-learning regulation in the Kingdom, as well as canceling the license of entities in various sectors with the aim of facilitating the journey of investors in the sector and entities wishing to provide e-education and training, in addition to reducing the costs of the software license to approximately 65% in coordination with the Saudi Business Center.
In addition to approving the exemption of non-profit sector entities from licensing fees for e-education and training programs provided free of charge, in coordination with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, as it will constitute an incentive and enabler for the non-profit sector in the Kingdom, and a step forward towards enabling digital transformation in e-education and training in the sector.

The policies related to the center’s governance regulations were also discussed, and the compliance policy, risk policy, and business continuity policy were approved, in addition to reviewing the center’s most prominent work during the current year, in addition to monitoring the levels of progress in the strategic performance indicators.
