"Opera" Organizing a concert for musician Amr Selim at Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria
The Opera House, headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, is organizing a concert for the famous musician and pianist Amr Selim and his band, at eight o’clock in the evening next Thursday, at the Sayed Darwish Theater (Alexandria Opera).

It was reported. The Opera House – in a statement this evening, Monday – that the famous musician and pianist Amr Selim prepared a rich artistic program for the concert, which includes presenting a group of Arabic music works that he recreated. With his artistic vision to suit the piano instrument.
It is noteworthy that the musician and pianist Amr Selim was influenced by music since his childhood, and upon discovering his talent he joined the boarding school for the care of the blind, and began playing the accordion and then chose The piano, and he joined the Nasser Institute for Arabic Music and Cairo University. He participated in specialized competitions throughout the university years, and won many awards. After graduating, he created his first musical band, and worked on re-arranging works. A rare singer, he accompanies the artist Medhat Saleh in all his concerts, and he was honored in several festivals, including the Arab Music Festival in 2019 and the Citadel Festival in 2021.
