Nisreen Tafesh… from acting to the world of singing

The star Nisreen Tafesh revealed her opinion about taking up singing one day, as she pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the new direction that she is likely to follow soon.

During her interview with the “Ten Nights” program with the journalist Bossi Shalabi, Tafesh confirmed that she is already preparing a song that will reveal the many talents that she possesses, stressing that she will not give up acting in order to sing, as she basically considers herself an actress and loves the acting profession, explaining that singing has advantages and disadvantages. Most notably, singing is an “expensive” and “psychologically destructive” project, confirming that it requires an entire team in order to prepare. For one song, which she considered “more difficult than acting.”

Nisreen also pointed out that one of the conditions for success in singing is that there be a company that stands by the singer, in addition to devoting the “singer-actor” to singing.
Despite the difficulties of singing, Nisreen revealed that there is already a song currently being prepared for her, and it will be in the Egyptian dialect, confirming that it will be ready to be released during the Christmas holidays.

In terms of her dramatic works, Nisreen confirmed that she had finished filming the series “For Free” with the artist Hani Ramzy, who was scheduled to compete in the drama last Ramadan, but its showing was postponed, but no official showing date has been set for it yet.
Regarding the possibility of her participation in the upcoming Ramadan season of 2025, Nisreen has not decided whether or not she will be nominated, indicating that she is in the process of reading a script for a series that she has not yet expressed her opinion about.

In terms of cinematic works, Nisreen explained her preference for the past period in cinema, as she feels that films are comfortable due to the short filming period and quick access to the audience, and films live with the audience for a longer period and are in the artist’s archive.
Nisreen is waiting for more than one new work to be shown during the coming period, the most recent of which is the movie Al-Dashash, which brings her together with Muhammad Saad, Zeina, Nisreen Amin, Walid Fawaz, Muhammad Jumaa, Mustafa Abu Saree, Rashwan Tawfiq, Ahmed Al-Rafi’i, and Muhammad Youssef Ozo, and the work is written by Joseph Fawzi and directed.
