United States.. Oil field production rises to an unprecedented level

Weekly oil field production in the United States has risen to unprecedented levels.
The US Energy Information Administration said in a weekly report on Wednesday that oil field production rose by 118,000 barrels per day to an unprecedented level of 13.631 million barrels per day in the week ending December 6.
Production reached an unprecedented level of 13.513 million barrels per day in the week ending November 29.
Crude oil inventories in the United States decreased in the week ending December 6, while gasoline and distillate inventories rose.
The US Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday that crude inventories fell by 1.4 million barrels to 422 million, compared to analysts’ expectations in a Reuters poll of a decline of 901 thousand barrels.
The administration explained that crude oil stocks at the delivery center in Cushing, Oklahoma, fell by 1.3 million barrels.
Crude consumption in refineries decreased by 251 thousand barrels per day in the week ending December 6th.
