A 4.9 magnitude earthquake strikes the coast of Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck today, Thursday, south of the coast of the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific Ocean.
The US Geological Survey reported, in a statement, that the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 514.3 kilometers.
