The AFC holds the Champions League 2 draw

Kuala Lumpur, December 12 / WAM / Today, Thursday, the Asian Football Confederation held the draw for the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2, at its headquarters in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The results of the draw for the West region resulted in a confrontation between Sharjah Group, the leader of the third group, and Al-Hussein of Jordan, the runner-up of the fourth group.
It also signed Shabab Al-Ahly, the leader of the fourth group, with the Jordanian Al-Wahdat, the runner-up of the third group.
In the rest of the confrontations in the West region, the Iranian Tractor, the leader of the first group, will meet with Al-Khalidiya of Bahrain, the runner-up of the second group, and the Saudi Al-Taawoun, the leader of the second group, will meet with Al-Wakrah of Qatar, which came second in the first group.
As for the East group, the draw resulted in a meeting between Sanfrecce Hiroshima of Japan, the leader of Group Five, and Viet Dinh of Vietnam, runner-up in Group Seven.
The Singaporean Lion City Sailors club, the leader of Group F, will also face its regional opponent, Muangthong United of Thailand, the runner-up of Group H.
Bangkok United of Thailand, the leader of Group Seven, will also meet Sydney of Australia, the runner-up of Group Five.
Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors from the Republic of Korea, two-time AFC Champions League champion, will meet Thai club FC Port, runner-up in Group F.
The round of 16 matches will be held in February 2025, followed by the quarter-final matches in March of the same year, and the semi-finals in April, with the tournament concluding with the final, which will be held in one match on May 17, 2025.
