Agreement between "Dubai Electricity" and"American Electric Power Research"

Dubai, December 12 / WAM / Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the American Electric Power Research Institute, to enhance close cooperation in the field of training, application of the latest developments in renewable energy, modernization of networks, energy storage solutions, and others.
Under the agreement, the Electric Power Research Institute provides the Authority’s employees with training programs and courses in various fields, including the smart grid, energy efficiency, distribution asset management analyses, cybersecurity, sustainability in the electric power sector, data analysis, renewable energy systems, integration of photovoltaic systems, and various aspects. Which plays a fundamental role in enhancing the empowerment of the Authority’s employees to effectively contribute to anticipating and creating a sustainable future.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: “We cooperate with the largest local and international research and innovation centers, and provide professional and self-development programs that enable the Authority’s employees to transform challenges into opportunities and keep pace with rapid changes, ensuring the continuation of the process of excellence, leadership, and advancement.” “With their productivity in all development sectors, and achieving the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050.”
