المملكة: “Islamic Affairs” signs a memorandum of cooperation to serve the homes of God

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and the Abdullah bin Turki Al-Dahyan Endowments signed a joint memorandum of cooperation today, at the Ministry’s office in the capital, Riyadh.
It was signed by the Ministry, Director of the Events and Initiatives Unit, Turki bin Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, and by the Endowment, Executive Director Shaalan bin Othman Al-Shaalan.

Serving the homes of the Most Merciful

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the Waqf and the Ministry in serving the Houses of God in a number of cities and governorates, and to deepen the partnership with the non-profit sector to support the Ministry’s programs and projects inside and outside the Kingdom.

The terms of the memorandum stipulate that the two parties will cooperate in the field of building mosques and providing sites for them in places of need, such as remote areas such as villages and villages, and providing solutions to donors who are struggling to build mosques, and in the field of demolishing, rebuilding and restoring mosques.
As well as organizing local and international Holy Quran and Sunnah competitions abroad, programs of academic courses and advocacy forums for preachers, imams and preachers abroad, benefiting from graduates of Saudi universities in imamate and preaching, and programs for hosting those concerned with Islamic affairs during Umrah.
