The new documentary series will also provide more insight into the Beckham family and those close to them, in addition to showing “never-before-seen” archival footage. This comes directly after the broadcast of the documentary series “Beckham”, which dealt with the story of the rise of the English football player David Beckham, and was directed by Fisher Stevens. The series was released last year, and received critical acclaim, and received five Emmy Award nominations this year.

From the Bronx, New York, Nadia Hallgren is best known for directing the four-time Emmy Award-nominated film “Becoming,” which provides a look into the life of former First Lady Michelle Obama, during a moment of profound change, not only for her personally, but also for her country, the United States. She and her husband served him for eight years in the White House.

Recently, Hallgren worked as a director for the series: “Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE” and “Civil: Ben Crump”, which are produced by the “Netflix” platform. The last series, which deals with the life of human rights lawyer Ben Crump, was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2023.
