المملكة: The King of Jordan receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Arab Liaison Committee on Syria

King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, received in the city of Aqaba today, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Arab Ministerial Liaison Committee on Syria, in addition to the foreign ministers of a number of countries and representatives of international organizations, on the sidelines of Aqaba meetings on Syria.
The King of Jordan stressed that the stability of Syria represents a strategic interest for the Arab countries and the entire region.

Maintaining the security of Syria

He stressed the importance of coordinating a unified and effective international position that ensures the preservation of Syria’s security, the safety of its citizens, its sovereignty and its national institutions, and stressing the need to protect its territorial integrity from any external aggression or interference.
