"Brand Dubai" Supports Emirati talent at the festival "Hatta winter"

Dubai, December 15 / WAM / Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, as part of the activities and initiatives of this year’s Winter Hatta Festival, launched the “Brand Dubai Store” exclusively within the festival’s atmosphere.
The store is established as an innovative platform to support young Emirati talents and present their creativity to the visiting public, through a distinguished cooperation with 10 Emirati artists.
Sarah Merdas, a member of the organizing committee of the Hatta Winter Festival, confirmed that the store includes more than 20 works of art that reflect the beauty of the city of Dubai and the landmarks of the charming Hatta region.
She said that the committee was keen to ensure that the artworks were displayed in a variety of creative ways, as they were used in designing a range of products such as gifts, greeting cards, and personal belongings, in addition to the murals spread inside the festival’s main headquarters in Lim Lake.
She added that this project is in line with the vision of the wise leadership to transform Dubai into an open museum that celebrates creativity, while emphasizing that Hatta is an integral part of this vision, due to its stunning nature and rich heritage.
She explained that the store also aims to enhance the spirit of belonging through souvenirs that reflect the authentic Emirati culture and meet the needs of citizens, residents and visitors of different nationalities.

The “Brand Store Dubai” is a qualitative initiative to support Emirati artists by displaying their works in a festival that attracts thousands of visitors, which contributes to highlighting local talent and encouraging creativity.

The festival also enhances Hatta’s position as a prominent tourist destination, highlighting its heritage and attractive nature.
On a related note, the “Watta Hatta” Festival continued its activities yesterday, Saturday, on its second day, continuing for a month until January 12, 2025.

The festival witnessed an initiative to support entrepreneurs and small and emerging projects from the Hatta and Dubai region, with the participation of 30 projects from members of the “Proudly from Dubai” initiative of Brand Dubai. This initiative received great response from the visiting public, whether from inside or outside the country.
The initiative aims to encourage entrepreneurs and enhance the prosperity of their projects by providing a platform for direct interaction with the public.
A number of participating entrepreneurs expressed their happiness at joining the festival, noting that last year’s edition contributed significantly to promoting their projects.
The participants stressed the importance of supporting emerging projects and local brands, because of their effective role in supporting the economy of Hatta and Dubai, especially through small projects and productive families that contribute to enhancing economic growth.
The heritage and archaeological landmarks in Hatta also witnessed a large turnout of visitors, coinciding with the launch of the “Winter Hatta” festival. Visitors’ activities varied between enjoying the beauty of nature and practicing sports activities, attracting areas such as Hatta Dam, Hatta Heritage Village, Sharia Rest House, Hatta Falaj, and Wadi It attracted many Gulf and foreign visitors and tourists, through a group of other recreational and sporting activities that provide an integrated tourism experience.
