المملكة: Insulting and abuse, practices rejected in the treatment of student behavior
The Ministry of Education stressed the importance of adhering to sound educational values and methods when dealing with student behaviors, warning against resorting to physical or psychological abuse practices, because of their direct negative effects on the performance of male and female students and their educational achievement, stressing the need to apply the rules of behavior and perseverance approved accurately and objectively.
The ministry explained that one of the most prominent non -educational practices that is prohibited from using: direct physical punishment, and psychological abuse by reducing the student’s affairs or insulting him in any way, because of this a great impact on destabilizing his self -confidence and the decline in his academic performance.
She also stressed the need to avoid depriving the student of breakfast as a means of punishment, or preventing him from attending lessons, as these methods contradict the student’s rights in a safe and stimulating educational environment.
She also warned that assigning students who violate the copying of the school duty several times as a kind of punishment is an unhealthy educational practice, as it leads to the student’s fatigue without achieving a real educational benefit.
Educational
The Ministry called on male and female teachers to deal with behavioral violations through educational means that focus on promoting positive behavior and correcting wrong behavior, away from any form of provocation or mockery of the student’s personality or abilities, because of this role in exacerbating negative behaviors and increasing absence or absentee rates.
In this context, the ministry stressed the need not to exclude students who violate outside the classroom as a way to deal with their behavior, indicating that this behavior enshrines the student’s feeling of isolation and exclusion, which reflects negatively on his academic and social integration within the school.

The Ministry also reminded of the need to adhere to dealing with cases of abuse and neglect within the framework of the approved national systems, in the forefront of which is the “Child Protection System” and its executive regulations, and the “harm protection system” and its executive regulations, stressing that any transgression in this regard is a violation of job duties that requires the application of regular penalties in accordance with the system of job discipline.
The Ministry emphasized that the treatment of behavioral violations should take place through the implementation of educational activities aimed at improving the degrees of behavior after deduction, according to the principle of combining the reward and educational punishment.
The behavior is modified by the teacher who witnessed the violation, in coordination with the school’s agent and student mentor, and under the supervision of the supervisor responsible for implementing compensatory activities, to ensure the effectiveness of educational intervention and the consolidation of the positive values of the student.
Follow students
The Ministry of Education stated that the school administration and the student guidance department are responsible for following up students who are repeated from violations, by submitting detailed reports that clarify the nature of the educational violations and procedures taken.

This includes directing an official letter to the student guidance department and requesting additional support when needed, in addition to conducting direct interviews with the parents of students, to ensure the family support in the educational treatment plan and the student’s continued education without interruption.
The ministry also confirmed that if the educational interest requires the transfer of the violator to another school due to the repetition of violations and his failure to respond to the behavior modification plans, the student has the right to return to his previous school after an appropriate period of time, provided that it is proven that his behavior improves and responds to the approved educational procedures, in line with the educational paths system and after pre -coordination with the Education Department.
These directives come from the Ministry of Education’s keenness to enhance a safe and stimulating educational environment that takes into account the educational, psychological and social aspects of male and female students, and contributes to building a balanced person academic and humanitarian, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision aimed at raising the quality of education and graduating generations capable of contributing to the development of society and the national economy
