The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority announced that citizens are allowed to self-import two cars annually, adding 5% of the value of the car upon import as customs duties and 15% value-added tax.
She confirmed that the resident is allowed to import one every 3 years, and is prohibited from selling it until after 3 years.
