Iron prices rise in Saudi Arabia within a month… and timber prices decline

Iron prices in Saudi Arabia rose during the month of November, on a monthly basis.
The Averages and Services Bulletin issued by the Statistics Authority showed an increase in the prices of electrical wires and cables, with the exception of one category of cables.
According to the bulletin, the price in Saudi Arabia decreased, with the exception of African teak wood.

Iron price in Saudi Arabia

It was reported that the price of rebar (6 mm) rose by 0.2% to 3997.71 riyals per ton last November.
It was reported that rebar (8 mm) recorded 2765.04 riyals per ton, up by 0.2% on a monthly basis.
It indicated that rebar (10 mm) rose by 0.2% to 2,806.39 riyals per ton.
The price of rebar (12 mm) increased by 0.9%, on a monthly basis, recording 2714.98 riyals.
The price of rebar (14 mm) recorded 2714.81 riyals per ton, increasing by 0.9% on a monthly basis.
The price of rebar (16 mm) reached 2,715.86 riyals per ton, increasing by 0.8% last November.
The price of rebar (18 mm) increased by 0.8% on a monthly basis, to 2713.98 riyals per ton.
The price of China’s iron connecting cable recorded 51.78 riyals, an increase of 0.7% on a monthly basis.

Electrical wires and cables

The price of electrical wires in its three categories (2.5 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm) increased by 0.8%, 0.6%, and 0.4%, respectively.
The price of electrical cable (10 mm) reached 22.06 riyals, decreasing by 0.6% on a monthly basis.

The price of electrical cables increased from the 10 mm category to the 300 mm category, while the percentage increase ranged from 0.02% to 1.2%.
The price of electrical cables of all categories ranged from 22.06 riyals to 542.64 riyals per meter.
The price of aluminum (Saudi side ring) recorded 88.42 riyals, an increase of 1.9% on a monthly basis.

Wood price

The price of Chilean wood decreased by 2.8% on a monthly basis, recording 1,497.92 riyals per cubic meter.
The price of Romanian wood decreased by 0.9% to 1470.3 riyals on a monthly basis.
The price of African teak wood increased by 0.3% to 6,042.74 riyals per cubic meter during November.

The price of Indonesian plywood fell by 0.6% to 3,150.25 riyals per cubic meter.
The price of coal reached 10.46 riyals, down by 0.29%.
