Dubai, December 16 / WAM / Flydubai unveiled its new business class lounge in Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, which covers an area of 900 square metres, and has a capacity of more than 200 passengers.
Hamad Obaidullah, CEO of Commercial Operations at Flydubai, opened the new lounge, which is inspired by the beauty of desert sand dunes, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Major General Talal Al Shanqeeti, Assistant Director General of the Air Ports Sector in the General Administration of Residency. and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Ports Affairs, and His Excellency Jamal Al-Hai, Executive Vice President at Airports. Obaidullah Dubai said that the opening of the new lounge today coincides with Flydubai’s celebration this year of the 15th anniversary of its operations, as the new lounge confirms the carrier’s commitment to continuous development and investment in improving the customer experience, whether in the air or on the ground.
Mohammed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport and Cargo Services at Flydubai, said that lounges are an essential element of the smooth and comfortable travel experience that the carrier aims to provide to customers, noting that the Flydubai Business Class lounge provides more comfort for passengers who are looking for a more private travel experience. .
Last October, flydubai opened new business class check-in desks in Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, which provide special services.
