president "Sharjah Consultant" Participate in a poetic evening in"Abu Dhabi Book"
Abu Dhabi, April 29/ WAM/ The Council of Nights of Poetry hosted within the activities of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, a poetry evening titled “Hand in Hand” in which His Excellency the poet Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, participated, while His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center.
Al -Naimi started his speech by praising the national initiative to lead the wise state with the announcement of the year 2025 years of society under the slogan “hand in hand”.
He stopped at the symbolism of this slogan, indicating that it expresses a human depth in harmony with the privacy of Emirati society, and said that our society today, with the development it has witnessed during the past fifty years, is in need of greater awareness to accommodate the accelerating changes, and renew the meanings of cohesion and understanding, to enhance our national identity open to the other.
In front of a large audience of popular poetry, His Excellency gave a group of his poems that combined the durability of the text and the compassion of meaning.
During the evening, Al -Nuaimi dealt with multiple issues, starting from the homeland and its values, through the journey of man in the universe, love and fear, to the personality of Ibn Sina as a symbol of science and humanity.
During his speech, His Excellency similar to the homeland to a sailing ship facing various challenges, stressing that there is no way to survive except for the unity of the ranks and the wisdom of leadership, explaining that it is not possible to talk about the homeland without talking about its leader, as it is the captain of the ship that leads it consciously to safety, and protects it from the fluctuations of storms.
Speaking about the sources of his poetic inspiration, Al -Nuaimi revealed that he was affected by great Arab personalities, headed by Abu al -Tayyib al -Mutanabbi, the symbol of wisdom and antagonism in Arabic poetry, and Muhammad Mahdi Al -Jawahiri, one of the most prominent poets of the modern era in the Arabic language.
At the local level, he expressed his great admiration for the experience of Emirati poet Saeed bin Ahmed Al -Otaiba “Bou Manea”, and he also mentioned the great poet Rashid Al -Khidr, who excelled in combining the Nabatieh poem and the eloquent poem with a unique talent.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al -Nuaimi concluded the evening with a poem dedicated to the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
