United Warehousing and Distribution opens a new logistics center in Riyadh

United Group (United Warehousing and Distribution Services Company) announced the opening of a new logistics center in the Second Industrial City in Riyadh, as part of its strategy to support the goals of Vision 2030 and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a regional center for logistics services. The center is a qualitative step to meet the growing demand for logistics services, especially with the expansion of the group’s clients such as McDonald’s Saudi Arabia.

CEO, Mr. Mario Ibrahim, explained that the new center represents a strategic investment aimed at improving the efficiency of the supply chain and enhancing the quality of services provided to customers. The center has a huge capacity sufficient to meet the growing market requirements in the long term, and it was designed in accordance with international quality standards

Mr. Mario stressed that the center relies on advanced technologies, including a storage management system capable of tracking goods and managing orders efficiently, in addition to Radio Shuttle technology, which enhances storage capacity and speed of operations. He pointed out that the group plans to adopt artificial intelligence in managing operational processes in the future, with the aim of improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Mr. Mario also pointed out the company’s commitment to applying the highest international standards in design and operation, as the group holds accredited quality certificates such as the “British Retail Consortium (BRC)” and the “Distribution Quality Management Process (DQMP)” certificate from McDonald’s International. He added that The center will contribute to supporting the local economy by creating new job opportunities in the fields of transportation, storage, and administrative services, which will enhance sustainable development and contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s aspirations.
